Festivlle Baddeck July 4th & Aug 7th 2017

The Telegraph House is the perfect local, we are the only hotel on the Festival street.

An exciting new festival will launch this summer in Baddeck, Nova Scotia!  Named FESTIVILLE BADDECK, the festival will appeal to all ages and will feature local artisans, buskers, and live entertainment.  The main street of the village will be closed for the festivities.  The event will be presented on three dates over the summer season: July 4th and August 7th will run from 6:00 PM – 9:00 PM on each date.

Our vision is to create an event that showcases the amazingly talented people in our region, while celebrating the spirit of our village.  The list of entertainment includes step-dancers, aboriginal drummers, Celtic musicians and a local theatre group. There will also be local artisans selling their wares, and other activities for the young and young at heart.  Some entertainment highlights include traditional fiddler Colin Grant, piper trio Nuallan, performances by the acting troupe of "The Bells of Baddeck", dancers from the Mi'Kmaq nation, and much more.
